We chose one of the top 4 pumpkin patches to visit on Saturday, October 23, Family Farm Pumpkin Patch. It was a beautiful morning. The drive from West Little Rock To Malvern was not too bad. We hit a little bit of traffic due to construction, but it was not too bad.
Once we arrived, we were guided to park in a big lot behind the barn. People were pulling in like crazy. We arrived just 30 minutes past opening time. It was only $5 a person to get in and our little munchkin was free since she is under 2 years old. My mother-in-law and husband joined us for the fun!
Family Farm is a wide open field with a lot of activities for kids and adults of all ages. We stopped by the petting zoo to look at the free-range chickens, donkey, puppies, and peacock. Our next activity included a little walk to the pumpkin patch on the hill. My husband and Kenzie picked out the perfect baby pumpkin for us to decorate. Many of the activities that were too big for Kenzie included: Slide Mountain, Hay Bale Slides, Carousel, rock climb and a fun zip line.
Honestly, I was tempted to do the zipline myself! Baby activities included a tractor ride, petting zoo, pumpkin patch, and market in the barn. I loved the opportunity to shop booths from local small businesses. They ranged from candles to kid clothes to door mats.
Family Farm thought of everything for their pumpkin patch. They also had a booth to decorate pumpkins and face painting! I really enjoyed the opportunity to spend a beautiful day with my daughter, husband, and mother-in-law. We will be putting Family Farm on our list for next year.
