This year's annual Holidays in the Heights will look a bit different. Having paused last year, the Business Association in partnership with the Heights Neighborhood Association decided to go BIG! This festive event will kick off the holiday season like never before. We look forward to seeing the holiday spirit in the Heights!
Beginning at 11 am, Santa will parade down Kavanaugh from Sotheby's escorted by the Mount Saint Mary's Rockettes. He will "land" the sleigh at Santa's Workshop, or as the locals call it, The Toggery. Mom & Pop will entertain us with a concert of their holiday originals as well as old fashioned classics. Santa will find his way down to J Parkey for photo ops beginning at 12:30. Mrs Claus will be stationed at CARE with hot apple cider provided by Le Pops. Bring your 4 legged family for photos with her! Other notable activities include bounce houses (Cafe Prego & Fuller and Sons), roasted chestnuts at Boulevard Bread Co., storybook time read by the Girl Scouts, a Wreath Workshop at Tipton Hurst, cookie decorating with Ann Potter Baking at Eggshells, a holiday light demonstration out front Prospect Bar & Grill, face painting & tinsel extensions by Red Beauty, a Hall of Inflatables, appearances by Princesses Elsa & Anna, food trucks, a letters to Santa station and a HOLIDAY SHOPPING SPREE GIVEAWAY valued at over $2,000. + so much
