Join Park Plaza, in partnership with Museum of Discovery, for an Eclipse Watch Party! The Total Eclipse will be Monday, April 8, 2024 and Park Plaza will be the best place in Midtown to view the solar eclipse. Your pre-purchased ticket includes parking, admission, activities, and FREE eclipse glasses that will allow you to view the solar eclipse safely. All proceeds will benefit the Museum of Discovery. A limited number of tickets are available so purchase today!
Gather your friends and family, bring your lawn chairs, and come learn about solar eclipses with our Museum of Discovery expert educator while watching this memorable phenomenon with our Little Rock community! You’ll also be able to enjoy food trucks, an awesome science show, science activities, face painting, and giant yard games.
Schedule of Events:
- 11:30am – Museum of Discovery Awesome Science Show
- 11:30am-1:30pm – Face Painting with Fancyful
- 12:30pm – Sun Safety + Information on first viewing of the partial eclipse (12:33pm)
- 1:00pm – Experiments with Shadows
- 1:30pm – Eclipse Science
- 1:45pm – Total Eclipse Preparation
- 1:50pm – Total Eclipse
TICKETS:
- $10 for adults
- $5 for children (ages 5-17)
- Free for children under 5 years
Food for purchase includes:
- Outside – Food Trucks: Tracy B’s “That’s So Cheezy”, Da Jay Jay’s Southern Cooking & Pinches Tacos
- Inside: Auntie Anne’s, Bite & Bubble, Chick-fil-A, Mandarin Express, Delicioso Ice Cream, & Dippin’ Dots
Location: Park Plaza Mall, Upper Parking Deck (pedestrian traffic only). Space is limited, first come first served.
